O’Connell Care at Home is growing our training program and we need per-diem Nurse Educators (RN) to help us do so! Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Training Manager to carry out certification courses (PCHM/HHA)
Collaborates with key stakeholders to provide in-service training opportunities, orientation, and other training/skill development events
Ensures the clinical competence of staff by performing skills checks of caregivers for certification, onboarding and supervision purposes
The must haves:
Currently holds an active RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Experience as a preceptor or trainer
Knowledge of presentation computer software (PowerPoint, etc.)
Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population
Ability to transfer enthusiasm for subject matter
Ability to drive to and provide trainings at any one of our locations in western Massachusetts (South Hadley, Greenfield, Holyoke, Westfield, Springfield/East Longmeadow)
Must be reliable and honor commitments
Possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, with a desire to be an effective member of the team
